Everything else is compromising so that you get the features that are most important to you at a price you can afford. Some features that are important to many people are that the policy will pay for home health as well as nursing hoe or assisted living care, that it has a cost of living feature to accommodate escalating costs, or that it has a short enough elimination period that not much has to be paid out of pocket.
