   Each year, make, and model, develops its own loss characteristics and these play an important role in determining the applicable rate. Some cars have a history of being more expensive than others to repair. Composite tail lights and head lights are a good example of parts that make repair expensive. One of the most difficult things to repair is a retractable metal roof.
