   Generally speaking, plan on it.  Moving violations such as speeding are factors that directly affect an insurance company's pricing plan and will affect the price that you pay for the coverage they provide.  If action is taken, it will usually happen on your policy's anniversary renewal date.  Talk to your insurance professional about the details of your policy.  Some companies offer long term policyholders first accident and/or violation forgiveness in which case, if it is your first offense, the you will probably not be affected by the ticket.
