    There is no pat answer to that question.  Soooooooooo many variables.  If a 16 year old strikes out on his own to purchase car insurance for a so-called sports car,  he will  likely pay tremendously more than a 16 year old who insures a sports car or any car for that matter, with the same company as the other household drivers and cars are insured with.  In addition there are the myriad of other factors that weigh into the rate, i.e. the specific car, policy coverage limits, driving record, credit, homeownership, etc, etc.
