Car insurance is priced based on several factors, the most common include: the car covered, your age, where the car covered is kept, your marital status, and elected coverage amounts which include: liability limits, personal property coverage, and uninsured/underinsured coverage.

Because these vary so much it is very difficult to tell you precisely what car insurance will cost you in the state of California.  You are best suited to consult an agent about what coverage would cost given your circumstances.

Car insurance is rated a bit differently in California than elsewhere.  There is a great deal of emphasis on the driver’s record and on the annual mileage of the vehicle.  The vehicle is associated with a household and all the drivers in the household are considered in the review of driving records.  Location and years of driving experience are additional factors.
