When you consider the statistics, Critical Illness insurance can make a big difference in a persons life.  More and more people are surviving Cancer, Stroke, Heart Attack and other critical illnesses and are living longer.  Often they are unable to go back to work or they have higher medical costs that may not be covered fully by their health insurance.  Critical illness can be a big asset for these individuals and it is not real expensive.

It is important to have Critical Illness Insurance if you are at high risk for developing a life threatening health condition and do not have financial resources set aside for that type of life event. Being overweight, smoking, or having certain diseases run in your family are all a good reason to have critical illness insurance. The policy would pay you funds to hire child care, pay for transportation to medical services, pay regular bills, pay medical bills, or fulfill some wishes on your bucket list. And those are all important.
