    I'm assuming you're asking how to get disability coverage without actually having insurance.  If this is the case, you as a consumer, or your employer, can always self-fund a future disability by setting up a "sinking fund," where you are contributing monies to it on a regular basis. My advice would be to insure this risk by trading small dollars for big dollars by buying a disability insurance plan.
