You can find Disability Insurance on the internet or in a brick and mortar office that sells it. Using an internet search engine or looking in the phone book is a good place to start. Anyone answering Disability Insurance questions on this website would also be a good resource.

When using the internet to find disability insurance, try to look for an agent, and not just an insurance company that sells DI.  Though a company can direct you to a contracted agent, it's helpful to find someone who represents several carriers.  That way, your agent can shop around to find you the best possible quote.  Be sure to ask for quotes from at least two or three carriers.  But don't assume that the cheapest quote is the best, or the most expensive for that matter.  Have your agent explain all the bells and whistles to you so you can accurately determine what policy provisions are right for you.
