Health insurance does make sense from the stand point of protecting yourself from financial loss due to an unexpected illness or accident.

The hot debate now is "Does Obamacare make sense?"  That conversation still doesn't have an answer.  As an agent who works for his clients I still advise each and every family to purchase the best coverage they can afford to make sure they aren't regretting it down the road.

Great question! Let me ask you one - would you be able to cover the medical expenses if something were to happen and you did not have it? Knowing that without insurance, it will be more difficult to be treated, you will most likely be sent to a clinic/hospital that is dedicated to treating the uninsured, and that a simple overnight visit can cost you several thousand dollars, would it make sense to have it? A  sad statistic - catastrophic medical events are the cause of roughly 60% of the bankruptcies in the world (and most had some form of insurance). Please be one of the 40%. Thanks for asking!
