Health insurance brokers are the smartest, kindest, coolest, nicest people in the world. OK...maybe I am embellishing just a bit.

An experienced health insurance broker (yes, I am one of them) can typically help you fund the lowest available rates for your healthcare. There is no charge (ever) when you use them and you are likely to save money, time and frustration by utilizing our services.

With all of the recent changes in the US healthcare system, including the availability of federal tax subsidies, you always want to work with an experienced broker and their health insurance website. The cost is free and you'll be able to easily find and compare your best options.

I find Mr. Harris' statement about broker's personally traits 100% accurate, although somehow I think that he forgot to mention how interesting we are.
Aside from that I just have an addition to help clarify the role of insurance brokers. Insurance brokers are contracted and represent most if not all insurance companies actively participating in the insurance market that the broker works in. On the other hand agents primarily represent one company and are limited to offering that companies insurance products. Because of the differing dynamics the agent is generally trained to be a salesman. The broker is generally a consultant who analysis, consults and advises with a far greater degree of due diligence..
