Most homeowners policies provide some form of coverage for the "additional" costs a family incurs should their home be damaged by a covered loss and not fit for occupancy. I wouldn't call it "Loss of Use" but it's fairly close. The coverage limit is usually a separate amount of insurance and is based on a percentage of the amount of insurance you carry on your home, 20% or more is common.
