    Depending on the size of the coverage and guarantee on issue, there will be some sort of exam that will collect a specimen.  Any illicit or illegal drug, as directed by the Federal Government, will not only cause an application denial, it will potentially flag you with other insurance carriers through the Medical Information Bureau.


    It is advisable, for the best possible outcome, to abstain from all prescription medications not prescribed to you, illicit drugs INCLUDING marijuana regardless of your resident state's legislation and tobacco for 30 days prior to your insurance exam.
