    Do not be afraid to tell any insurance salesman, No! Honestly almost all agents will appreciate you telling them no, rather than avoiding them. If they give you a hard time just let them know you were testing them to see their true character, and you are glad you told them no. (wink wink)

    How do you say "no" to an insurance agent? Simply have a solid workable plan in place that you understand and can explain easily.  :) Most experienced agents can take "no" for an answer if they know the prospect has actually put things together in a sound manner and understands what they have. It only gets hard to say "no" if you doubt what you've done so far.

    Saying "No" is not a bad thing.  Any quality salesperson would rather hear No then hear a fake yes only to have the client get buyers remorse after the sale.  If you are going to say "No"...make sure you have a back up plan in place to satisfy your original needs.
