NYL Insurance Company is simply an Insurance company providing Life Insurance products along with other supplemental products designed to protect and grow your financial future.  I would recommend going to:   http://www.newyorklife.com/about to learn about the company.  If you would like to talk about products you can search or request to have an agent call you.  Most of the agents are what we call captive, meaning they only represent this company.

Matt is correct. New York Life is an independent national insurance company. We are a mutual company, meaning our policy holders own our company, and we are not beholden to Stock Holders, so we can have lower rates and better service. In addition to Term Policies, we offer our flagship Whole Life Policies, along with Long Term Care Insurance, Annuities, Pension Replacements, College Funding, a variety of Retirement Plans. For details, call a New York Life Agent. Gary Lane, Registered Representative, New York Life, 949 797 2424. Thank you.

New York Life Insurance Company (NYLIC) is a mutual life insurance company domiciled and admitted in New York State. They distribute their products primarily through appointed agents. Most of their life insurance products are “participating.” That means that premium that is collected in excess of the actual cost of the policy is returned to the policy owner in the form of a “dividend.” Unlike a stock dividend this is actually a return of premium and is therefore not subject to taxation.
