Talk to your Insurance Professional about your particular situation.  There are 2 basic elements of a Renter's policy: 1)  Personal Property Coverage and 2) Liability Coverage.  Personal Property coverage should reflect the value of your personal belongings.  Most companies offer a "Replacement Guarantee" settlement option, but usually require a minimum amount of stated coverage in order to trigger that.  As for Liability, frankly most companies offer a range between $100,000 and $300,000.  The difference in premium is so minimal (usually under $10.00 annually) that I personally recommend going with the higher amount.

For guidance on selecting Renters Insurance call us in the states of AZ,GA,CA, or TX we'll be glad to assist you. renters are often unaware of the discounts available for placing your auto insurance and your renters policy with the same carrier. It is not unusable to see 70% or greater of the cost of the renters policy "paid for " with savings on the auto policy
