That is a great question! But don't worry, there are insurance companies out there that will insure you. Without knowing which company you applied with, and why you were denied, I can tell you that even between companies there can be a great difference between who would issue, and who would deny over the same medical issue. Please contact me, and I'll be happy to guide you to someone who will write you. Whatever you do, do not apply to several companies, you will send out red flags that will work against you. Ok? Thanks for asking!

Having life insurance denied can be unpleasant to say the least.  After all, we're talking about our health and our mortality.  However, what many applicants don't realize is that carriers have different underwriting criteria, and while one company can deny coverage, another may consider that person a standard risk.  The best way to apply for coverage is through an agent that has experience and back office underwriting help so that you can best and least expensive coverage under the circumstances.

Being denied after applying for a life insurance policy can be a disheartening experience. But there are steps that you can take AFTER a life insurance denial, to assure you that there are no other options or get you at least some coverage (because there is almost always SOME coverage to be had).

If you had an agency that you trust and that has kept good contact with you throughout the underwriting process, I recommend that you follow up with whatever steps they suggest, first. People often panic after a decline, when just providing some additional medical records, filling out that last form, or getting a letter from your doctor can turn things around.

If you do feel that your agency was not up to the challenge your health or other risk factors presented, find a good impaired risk life insurance agent before giving up. Someone who is experienced with those types of issues, and who has access to many different companies, may be able to find you that same policy with another company. It gives us an advantage to know the reason for your denial, as we can start ahead of where you left off.

A significant percentage of my clients were declined for life insurance before contacting our office Please do not hesitate to give me a ring if you would like to see what we can do for you.
