The answer is who is the carrier that will offer you the desired coverage structure at the lowest possible cost. There are hundreds of insurance companies out there. The risk classification is the most important aspect when figuring out which carrier to set up your coverage through because the risk classification determines the premiums.

Please note, every carrier has their own underwriting guidelines, so some carriers will work better than others with a given medical history (e.g. company A may offer you preferred while company B may offer you standard (meaning a higher premium)).

You should work with an independent life insurance broker who can shop the case for you among multiple companies so you can get the most accurate numbers.

I hope the information is helpful - please feel free to contact me for help, including quotes and plan comparisons, and if you have any other questions. Thanks very much.

Each life insurance company has its own niches, so the best life insurance for one person may not be the best life insurance for another. The key is finding an agent who can put you with the company that has your best rates. Be sure that you are comparing the same plans when you compare prices.

The answer to who is best would probably be a trusted life insurance agent.  If you don’t have a relationship with an agent get recommendations from friends, colleagues or neighbors.  The best policy is the one that is in force and will pay the full death benefit on the day that you die.  If you can tell me when that will happen I can also tell you the best plan of insurance.
