I can certainly talk about as a broker. I do not have a "best" company but I have some standards I look for when working with an insurance company.
First, they need to be Financially rated A- or better otherwise I tend to shy away.
Second, they have to have competitive products. Every company has a different niche.
Third, they have to support me as the broker so I can do a great job meeting the needs of my clients, and last,
When a claim comes in, they have to have a history of expediting the process so you or the beneficiary will get the benefit applied for without or with a minimal amount of red tape.
