There is no specific age at which you can or cannot buy Long Term Care insurance, however for most people the cost of Long Term Care insurance is not much cheaper for those under the age of 40.

For most people, the age at which time they begin to seriously consider a Long Term Care insurance is around someone's mid 50's.

There is no special age to start shopping for long term care insurance but, I would say that around age 50-55 would be optimal. Some would argue older but at that age the premiums will be more reasonable and you are still working to make that payment. Also, you are young enough that the policy could be fully funded before you would need it.
