When Does Medicare Cover Nursing Home Care?

   This is a great question, it confuses many people.  Medicare covers skilled nursing care which is Medical care but does not cover custodial care also known as non medical care, such as help dressing,bathing,eating.  This is the reason most people look into A Long Term Care plan that does include custodial care.  Hope this helps.
