    UTI (urinary tract infection) is a covered expense under Medicare. If you can PROVE you contracted the illness as a result of hospital care, and the hospital agrees to cover all costs associated with your care, this may be considered an ineligible claim under Medicare.

    Otherwise, UTI treatment is covered.
