I believe you will find that for the most part, property plicies will exclude any motor powered vehicles from coverage.  This is a pretty standard exclusion.  Talk to your insurance professional about your options, though.  We can easily provide coverage for scooters under a separate contract that is specifically designed to meet those needs at an extremely reasonable price.

A key issue here will be if it is licensed for road use or if it constitutes a use in service to the premises but is designed for off road use. Typically any vehicle intended and licensed for road use is excluded on a renters or homeowners policy. The is some gray area around vehicles including scooters designed for off road use. Talk to your agent about the type of scooter you have and what you expect to use it for.
