If you are looking ot purchase renters insurance I would suggest first finding yourself a local agent that you are comfortable working with. After you have someone that you are comfortable working with, they will be able to provide you with infomation on the coverages that they have to offer and pricing associated with them.

Also, if you have auto insurance, you may want to check with your agent or the company that you purchased that insurance through.  Often times, you're able to bundle renters and auto insurance together to make the policies both cheaper than if you were to purchase them separately.
